Description: 1947 George Case Washington Senators professional model home jersey. Classic home white flannel jersey retaining its original "W" on front with matching "1" on the back. "Case 1" chain stitched onto strip tag inside collar area with "1 47" stitched inside tail front. Rare stars and stripes patch remains attached to left sleeve area. The jersey shows very fine use and wash wear with wonderful eye appeal. Case was one of the premier outfielders in baseball during the 1930-40 era leading the league in stolen bases five consecutive seasons.
