Description: Steve Sax Los Angeles Dodgers professional model road jersey c.1982 - Rookie of The Year season. Road gray jersey has "Dodgers" team name across the front with number "3" below. Number also appears on the back below the name, "S.Sax." Goodman & Sons tag in the collar notes size (40). Strong use and wash wear are evident throughout with some very minor scattered staining. The lack of a sleeve patch, and no evidence one was removed, help date the jersey to 1982 specifically. Sax played his first full season in L.A. in 1982 and earned the National League Rookie of The Year Award. He would remain with the Dodgers through 1988 and won a pair of World Series with the club in 1981 (late season call up for 30 games) and 1988.
