Description: 1976 Jim Kaat autographed "Gamer" inscribed Louisville Slugger professional model Bicentennial bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model S207 bat with Kaat facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.7oz. To the right of the centerbrand is a burned in Bicentennial logo. Player number "39" is written on the knob in vintage black marker and the bat has been signed "Jim Kaat Gamer" in marker rating 8 out of 10. Nice use with scattered ball/contact marks, a hint of grain swelling, and some red rack marks. A light coat of pine tar appears on the handle which has cracked. Kaat made (83) plate appearances while pitching for Philadelphia during the 1976 season. One of only a few Kaat bats to have entered the market since his Hall of Fame Induction and an always desirable Bicentennial model.
