Description: 1956 Clem Labine Brooklyn Dodgers professional model uniform (SGC/Grob: Superior)(NL Championship Season). Cream color flannel from key member of the beloved Brooklyn "Boys of Summer" retaining its original "Dodgers" team name in blue across the chest having "41" in red (front) and on back (blue). Rawlings manufacturer's label affixed to the tail front with size 42 supplemental tag and "Labine" chain stitched in blue. Dry clean tag and "Set 1 1956" flag tag remain inside tail front. Matching pants are included with similar tagging on interior waistband including chain stitched "Labine 56" strip tag. Superb condition throughout with evident use and wash wear that does not detract from its handsome eye appeal. Labine was a work horse for the great Dodgers teams of the 1950s era appearing in a record 425 games. Exceptional uniform from a key member of the Dodgers' franchise.
