Description: Rare 1948 Old Gold Cigarettes Jackie Robinson (Catching ball). Seldom offered postcard sized issued showing Robinson in catching pose was issued the year after his Major League debut. Strong eye appeal despite wear/flaws which are consistent with the technical grade. Of the two poses issued within this series, the "catching" is far more rare with this being the first we can recall offering in some time.
