Description: 1954 Baltimore Orioles professional model sample jersey with related professional model hat (Inaugural American League Season). Rare pre-production cream color flannel sample jersey displaying black on orange "Orioles" team name across the front with "20" in black on the reverse. Rawlings label inside collar along with size 44 supplemental tag. Dry clean and "Set 1 1954" tags inside tail front. Jersey show light general use/wash wear and presents in very fine all original condition. Lot also includes original Orioles professional model hat retaining its Tim McAuliffe manufacturer's label on interior headband. Very rare jersey likely produced in preparation for potential use in the Orioles historic inaugural season of 1954.
