Description: 1958-59 Bill Russell All-Star Team Selection presentational certificate. Proclamation done on heavy stock reads in part, "The Sporting News congratulates Bill Russell on his selection to the annual National Basketball Association All-Star Team for the 1958-59 season…" It has been secretarially signed at lower right by J.G. Taylor Spink and comes housed in its original presentation style gilt lettered red leather folio. Touch of light general wear is slightly more pronounced on the back cover. The 1958 season marked the first of (12) consecutive seasons in which Russell would make All-Star Game appearances.
