Notable award as presented to Russell in recognition of having been named as "Top 15 All-Time March Madness Player" by the NCAA. Very substantive mixed metal trophy atop black marble base with "Bill Russell San Francisco" incised in white lettering. 12" tall. Presented to Russell in recognition of his excellent performances in leading the University of San Francisco to two consecutive NCAA championships in 1955 and 1956. Russell is universally regarded as one of the finest players in the history of the NCAA with the offered award representing one of the more notable related to that legacy.
