Description: Bill Russell Sports Illustrated 40th Anniversary presentational Rolex wristwatch. Exceptional quality Rolex "Date just" model men's wristwatch as presented to Russell by Sports Illustrated on the occasion of their 40th anniversary in 1994. Watch remains in running order with light general use having been inscribed on the backplate, "SI's 40thAnniversary Honoree 9-13-1994". The watch also retains its original paper documentation and manuals along with original green leather lidded box (some dryness/flaking to interior padding of box).
