Description: Rare c.1920 Brooklyn Royal Giants Negro League photographs. Period scrapbook page (11.75"x15") having (4) sepia toned 4.5"x6.5" photographs affixed to either side, (7) of which show views of a Brooklyn Royal Giants exhibition game played c.1920 against the Parkesburg Iron baseball team. All were taken while the game was in play and while none of the players can be individually identified they do offer a rare glimpse into Negro League baseball in the period. Hall of Famer John Henry Lloyd played shortstop for the team and it is possible that he is shown as a distant figure on the field in some of the wider view images: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
