Description: Rare Lou Gehrig Louisville Slugger advertising display with 1927 World Series content c.1928 Heavy stock 8.5"x11" advertising piece prominently features Lou Gehrig promoting the Louisville Slugger "No. 40LG Lou Gehrig Model" baseball bat. In additional to the full length pose, Gehrig can also be seen in the game action image above as he rounds third base in the 1927 World Series. "New old stock" appearance with just a touch of light wear that includes some lower right corner wrinkles and a several small circular impressions on either edge. Exceedingly rare with this being the first example we have seen and possibly a unique survivor: EXEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$7,500)
