Description: Eddie Mathews Atlanta Braves professional model hat with his personal desk nameplate c.1970s. Interesting pair which presumably date to his time as Manager of the Braves (or shortly thereafter). Includes white and blue hat with embroidered team logo which has "41" written under the brim in ink. "New Era....Pro Model" tag is on the interior band and the size tag is no longer present. Use and some general age/storage wear; engraved metal nameplate on wooden base reads "Eddie Mathews" with the Braves team logo on one end. Includes letter of provenance from the original recipient of items from the Mathews family: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
