Notables include Roy Halladay, Sandy Koufax, Tom Seaver, John Smoltz, Greg Maddux, Warren Spahn, Fergie Jenkins, Denny McLain, Randy Johnson, Mike Cuellar, Steve Carlton, Gaylord Perry, Bob Gibson, Early Wynn, Orel Hershieser, Whitey Ford, Dennis Eckersley, Don Newcombe, Fernando Valenzuela, Doc Gooden, Bruce Sutter, Catfish Hunter, and others. Several, including Koufax and Halladay, have inscribed the year(s) they won the award. All are done in marker rating 8 to 9/10 out of 10. Bat is a vintage collegiate model with player number written on the knob however it shows little, if any, use and only a hint of wear.
