Description: Unique World Series Most Valuable Player autographed three baseball set (48 former winners, 51 total signatures). Trio of Rawlings baseballs are each signed by former World Series MVPs starting with Johnny Podres, whom was the first to be awarded the honor in its current incarnation in 1955, and continuing through Ben Zobrist in 2016. Phil Rizzuto and Jerry Coleman are also included who were named Series MVPs before the award became an annual MLB bestowed honor. Includes Rawlings G.Budig OAL ball signed by (25) incl. Derek Jeter, Mike Schmidt, Johnny Bench, Sandy Koufax, Willie Stargell, Donn Clendenon, Bobby Richardson, Ray Knight, Troy Glaus, Alan Trammell, Pete Rose, Gene Tenace, Reggie Jackson, Bucky Dent, Frank Viola, Dusty Rhodes, Frank Robinson, White Ford, Ron Cey, Brooks Robinson, Ralph Terry, Phil Rizzuto (very faded), Jerry Coleman (twice, one is faded), and Pat Borders; W.White ONL ball signed by (25) incl. Podres, Bret Saberhagen (twice), Darrell Porter, Don Larsen, Lew Burdette, Bob Turley, Bob Gibson, Mickey Lolich, Rollie Fingers, Pedro Gerrero, Larry Sherry, Steve Yeager, Dave Stewart, Randy Johnson, Jack Morris, Orel Hersheiser, Tom Glavine, Rick Dempsey, Jose Rijo, Paul Molitor, Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling, John Wetteland, and Brooks Robinson; B.Selig OML ball signed by (5) incl. Jermaine Dye, Jerry Coleman, Curt Schilling, Ben Zobrist, and Hideki Matsui. All are done in ink and generally rate 7 to 8 out of 10 however there are few mixed in which are a touch lesser. Hint of light toning and a few minute imperfections to the OAL and ONL balls. A unique set and the work of a dedicated collector over many years.
