Lot Number: 160

Description: Significant Harmon Killebrew autographed and "HR #572" inscribed professional model baseball bat attributed to his second to last career home run (PSA "GU 9.5"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Killebrew facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 31.5oz. Model number "S207" is factory stamped in the knob which has vintage "3" player number notation. Nice use is evident throughout with scattered ball/contact and cleat marks and there is pine tar on the cracked handle. Signed in marker rating 8 out of 10 "Harmon Killebrew" and inscribed "HR #572." To the side of the signature is a vintage ink notation reading "Tanana - Calif in KC 9-14-75." The home run was a two-run blast, his 13th of the season, and would be the second to last of his Hall of Fame career. An exceptional example from the Twins All-Time great and a rare piece with direct attribution to an important home run coming direct from the player (in the form of his handwritten inscription). Includes LOAs from Hunt Auctions, PSA (graded "GU 9.5"), and JSA: EX
