Description: 1973 Phil Niekro Atlanta Braves professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob: Very Good-Excellent). Classic 1970s era style jersey as worn by Hall of Fame knuckle ball pitcher Phil Niekro. Blue pullover knit jersey retains its original "Braves" tackle twill name across the front with number "35" on both front and back. Proper Sand Knit manufacturer's tag with size 42 indicator inside collar having "42-73-Set 2" chain stitched strip tag underneath. Jersey displays very heavy use most notably visible to the 'puckering' of the numerals and tag wear possibly from additional use if sent to the Minor Leagues after Niekro's tenure.
