Description: Very fine Hank Aaron autographed Atlanta Braves professional model jacket c.1966. Black satin cold weather jacket has the "Braves" team logo across the front. In the collar is a "Wilson" tag with adjacent size "48" flag tag. An embroidered strip tag on the inside lower front reads "44 1966" denoting player number and year. Use and some additional age/storage related wear throughout and a faint handwritten number in the collar suggests use by another player at some point. There is some minor to moderate fraying and scuffing the surface and a few loose stitches at seams. Left shoulder has a repair that was likely done by the team in the period. Signed "Hank Aaron 1966" on the front in silver marker rating 8/9 out of 10. Very rare jacket as issued for the Braves first year in Atlanta. Only the second example of this pengh style we have encountered (other was Rico Carty). Very rare and desirable Aaron equipment piece with beautiful eye appeal.
