Description: Rare 1957 Carl Furillo Brooklyn Dodgers professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob: Superior). Gray flannel jersey has "Dodgers" team name across the front in scripted logo font and the number "6" on back. Spalding label appears on the front tail with adjacent size "44" tag and an additional (which has partially separated) is now blank. The name and year "Furillo 57" are chain stitched below. Wash tag is inside along with the "Set 1 1957" flag tag. All original with use and wash wear evident throughout along with some minor soiling/staining. An exceedingly rare jersey being one of only a few Furillos known and highly desirable as it dates to the Dodgers last season in Brooklyn.
