Description: Outstanding 1952 Lou Boudreau Boston Red Sox professional model road jersey (MEARS "A10"). Gray flannel jersey has "Boston" team name lettered across the front and number "4" on back. Tim McAuliffe tag appears on the front tail with adjacent size "44" tag. "1952 44 3in 4" is embroidered below denoting year, size, sleeve length, and player. Exceptionally well preserved with light evident use/wear consistent with Boudreau's (4) appearances in what was his last season as a player during his Hall of Fame career. He would remain at the helm of the Red Sox until 1960 and lead the club through a number of their most memorable seasons.
