Description: Rare Ty Cobb tobacco tin c.1912. Exceedingly scarce tobacco tin is one of the most elusive rarities in the fields of both baseball card/memorabilia and tobacciana collecting and the offered example is one of just a handful known. Nicely illustrated on both sides with his likeness and "Ty Cobb Granulated Cut Plug" text/titling. As is most often the case, there is some minor scattered spotting/rust and a few small nicks and scratches. A handful of indentations are minor in nature and do not detract from the overall display value.
