Description: 1912 L1 Helmar Leathers #125 Eddie Collins. Desirable oversized (approx. 10"x14") leather premium issued by Helmar in exchange for coupons packaged with their "Turkish Trophies" line of tobacco products. The coupons could be exchanged for a T3 Cabinet Card (10-15 coupons), S81 Silk (20-25 coupons), or an L1 Leather (35-50 coupons). This trio of premiums are among the most sought after tobacco related issues in the hobby and the L1 Leathers are by far the rarest. Strong condition example with a crisp image and, in general, only a hint of light wear (most notably two or three minute indentations on the lower front).
