Rarely offered figural award which is among the most coveted within the history of collegiate athletics as presented to Cappelletti in recognition of his incredible 1973 season. Cast bronze figural football player is positioned on mahogany plinth style base with inscribed brass placard on the front, "Robert W. Maxwell Football Club America's Outstanding 1973 Collegiate Football Player John Cappelletti". Very light general surface wear standing 13" tall. Cappelletti's 1973 season was one of the greatest of the era capturing the Heisman Trophy award and leading Penn State to a National Championship victory over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
