Description: Cleveland Browns professional model jersey attributed to Horace Gillom c.1950s. White pullover jersey with brown and orange stripe accented three quarter length sleeves has number "84" on both front and back. The jersey dates to the 1950s and that number was worn by Horace Gillom, a member of 3 AAFC and 3 NFL Champion Browns teams, from 1952-1956 (it was issued to several other players for a short time throughout the decade). It remains well preserved with evident use (including a team repair) and some light general age related wear/toning. The lower portion has been trimmed at the flaps and no manufacturers tagging remains. Included are 1952 Browns vs. Steelers and 1955 Rams vs. Browns Championship game programs which both list Gillom as wearing number "84" (1955 program covers are separated from contents).
