Description: Eddie Bell University of Pennsylvania football jersey c.1950. White jersey with number "81" on both front and back has three quarter length red and blue sleeves. In the lower front tail are Pearson, size (44), and wash tags. Well preserved with use and wash wear throughout. Bell was the first African American All-American and captain of the Penn football team. He went on to help integrate professional football when he joined the Philadelphia Eagles. Includes 1950 Penn vs. Brown program with Bell listed as number "81" on the Penn roster and letter of provenance from the Bagnell Family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
