Description: Rare Harry Hooper single signed baseball (d.1974)(PSA/DNA 5.5 EX+). Light to moderately toned un-marked baseball signed on side panel by Hooper in black ink. Signature displays very nicely rating 7 out of 10. The ball itself has faded manufacturer stampings with some relatively minor surface toning to a few areas. Hooper was a member of the Red Sox vaunted "Golden Outfield" with Tris Speaker and Duffy Lewis. Single signature Hooper baseballs are deceptively rare having been elected to the Hall of Fame in 1971 just three years before his passing in 1974.
