Description: Rare Hack Wilson professional model baseball bat c.1921-31. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Wilson facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 35.3oz. Strong use is evident throughout with ball, stitch, and cleat marks on the hitting surface and a handle crack has been expertly repaired. Some additional surface wear includes a 1.5" vertical gouge in between the centerbrand and barrel stampings. A rare and desirable Wilson bat dating to the time period when he was one of the most feared sluggers in the game.
