Description: Rare 1922 W575-1 Babe Ruth card as personally presented by Babe Ruth in 1923. Uncommon Ruth card picturing hm in pitching pose wearing Red Sox uniform centered slightly to the bottom with even corner wear. Card also has some chipping to bottom edge and few areas of surface wear to the blank back including small abrasion. Contrast and registration are very strong. The card was originally presented to a staff member who was employed at the Hotel Penn in York, PA in 1923. Babe Ruth was staying at the hotel and presented the employee with the offered card which is incredibly accompanied by the original carbon desk receipt that Ruth signed at the time the card was presented.
