Description: Rare 1916 BF2 Ferguson Bakery Ty Cobb large format felt pennant. Exceedingly scarce oversized premium was available via redemption in exchange for (50) coupons which were issued with Ferguson Bakery product. There are only a handful of subjects known to exist in this larger size (approximately 9) and the offered example is one of only (2) featuring Ty Cobb that have been able to verify in circulation (the other having appeared in the Halper auction and though not pictured in the catalog based on the written description it is not this same piece). Typically measuring 23.5" long, this pennant has had both the upper edge and tip trimmed off (currently approx. 18.75"x8" at extremes). Stitch holes which ring the edges are the only other major condition detractor as the screened on name/decoration and affixed image appear to be nearly in their "as issued" state.
