Description: George Brett autographed professional model baseball bat c.1975 (PSA "GU 7"). Seldom offered and highly desirable rookie era bat is the lone example from so early in his career which we can recall handling. This model, in this particular length and weight configuration, can be traced to an order which was shipped to Brett in June of 1975. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Brett facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 31.6oz. Model number "T85" is factory stamped in the knob. Uncracked with nice evident use including some ball and stitch marks along with what PSA has identified are blue cleat marks. Light coat of pine tar remains on the upper handle and the bat appears to have been lightly refinished. Signed "All My Very Best George Brett" in vintage marker rating approx. 7 out of 10.
