Description: 1973 Jim Palmer Baltimore Orioles professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob: Very Good) - (AL Cy Young Award winning season)(2nd AL MVP Voting). Desirable all original road jersey as issued for use during the 1973 season in which Palmer won (22) with a League leading 2.40 ERA to claim the first of what would become (3) Cy Young Awards. Gray jersey has "Orioles" team name across the front with number "22" below. Number also appears on the back below the name "Palmer." Wilson tag in the collar notes size (42) and there is a "73 Set 2" embroidered strip tag on the front tail. Light use appropriate for a pitcher and wash wear are evident throughout.
