Description: Hank Aaron autographed c.1960s Atlanta Braves professional model batting helmet. Black and red helmet has an "A" team logo decal on front. "American Baseball Cap…Pro-Celd" label appears inside noting size "7 1/8." The number "44" is written on the upper bumper in marker and there is a more faded "Aaron" notation on the interior leather band. The band has been customized with portions very deliberately removed. An "Aaron" embossed label is also affixed to the back. Strong use is evident throughout. Signed "Hank Aaron" on the brim in marker rating 9 out of 10. Provenance can be traced through the Delbert Mickel Collection.
