Description: 1908 "Base Ball In Cincinnati" by Harry Ellard. Key early hard cover edition offering a detailed and well illustrated history of baseball with a focus on Cincinnati. Impressed design on the front cover is largely unaffected by the general cover wear to corners and edges which includes a few scuffs and a small tear at top of bound edge. Interior pages are generally clean with a few showing some mild wear (the 1869 Reds team photo page, and the facing page, have some more pronounced damage). There is a prior owner stamp on the first inside page and pencil notation on the last: VGEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
