Description: April 15, 1979 Johnny Bench career RBI #1,116 baseball - passed Tony Perez to set new Reds record. Rawlings C.Feeney Official National League baseball was hit by Bench for the 1,116th RBI of his career off pitcher Randy Jones of the San Diego Padres in San Diego Stadium. Ball displays mild soiling/toning and appropriate wear and has a vintage "1116 RBI, April 15, 1979, Randy Jones At S.D." notation on the side panel. The hit moved Bench past Tony Perez as the Reds All-Time Leader in Runs Batted In and he would go on to collect (1,376), a record which stands to this day.
