Description: Important 1976 Johnny Bench Cincinnati Reds World Series Championship trophy. Miniature version of the iconic trophy presented to the Championship team each season as given to Johnny Bench following the Reds World Series victory. A momentous offering and categorically within the short list of the most significant player presented championship trophies to ever come to auction. The piece stands 12" tall with brass pennants representing each team in both the American and National Leagues ringing the base with the small St. Louis Cardinals flag having been replaced mentioned for accuracy only. At the center is a brass ring topped with crown finial. Reds and Yankees World Series press pin facades are mounted in the front. A brass ring which encircles the base reads "Cincinnati Reds World Champions 1976, Johnny Bench, Catcher." Trophy shows some general light surface wear to a few areas including few loose flag poles (minor) and a small blemish to the front of the brass ring mentioned for accuracy only. .
