Description:Important April 15, 1947 Jackie Robinson debut game ticket stub. Original ticket stub issued for the Brooklyn Dodgers home opener played at Ebbets Field in which Jackie Robinson made his historic first appearance on a Major League diamond. In outstanding overall condition and displaying at the EX/MT-NM level with some all but insignificant evidence of prior mounting on the back (this is mentioned for accuracy and while it would lower the technical grade it has limited impact on the overall appeal). Housed within a 21.25"x31.5" display (secured in place with archival corners) which also includes a trio of related images, one of which shows Robinson in the dugout, on April 15th, with some of his teammates. Signatures of all shown are mounted below including Robinson (appearing on a personal check), Pee Wee Reese, Eddie Stanky, and Spider Jorgenson. Signatures rate 8 to 9 out of 10 and the pieces are secured in placed with conservators tape which could be removed by a professional. Includes auction LOA from JSA: see description
