Description: Unique "Dodgers Centennial" Limited Edition Serigraph with hand painted Vin Scully appointment. Classic rendering by noted sports artist LeRoy Neiman in trademark abstract style commemorating 100 years of Dodgers baseball. The original artwork was executed by Neiman in 1990 commemorating Dodgers team history as it relates to both Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Vignette images within the piece chronicling historic players and moments in Dodgers history include Sandy Koufax, Kirk Gibson, Jackie Robinson, and Fernando Valenzuela. Additionally, this particular example also features a hand painted portrait of Vin Scully within the body of the art that was specifically executed for presentation to Vin as otherwise not seen within the standard "Dodgers Centennial" serigraph. It was almost comical that Vin was not included in the original rendering especially due to the fact he was counted as a good friend of the artist. This unique accoutrement is of the finest quality and elevates the offered artwork to an elite level of desirability. Overall size measures 32" x 39 3/4" beautifully matted and framed in gilt.
