Subjects include Robinson with family on 1949, Robinson with J.Frazier/J.Louis/M.Ali, Robinson with W.Mays/M.Mantle and other HOF'ers, Sequential series of three photos showing Jackie stealing home plate, Several images of Robinson with political figures, several poignant images of Robinson's funeral and procession including reaction of African American youth in Harlem, NY. Lot also includes original 1966 press release regarding Robinson's appointment as a special assistant to Governor Rockefeller. Mixture of news service or photographer stampings on back with some retaining their original paper i.d. labeling. Condition varies with portion having photo mask or mark ups on front and majority grading VG/EX or better.
