Description: Historic June 13, 1948 "Babe Bows Out" photograph by Nat Fein (PSA/DNA Type I). Notably rare and newly discovered specimen of Fein+s Pulitzer Prize winning image taken on the Babe's final appearance in uniform at Yankee Stadium. Photo measures 8"x10" stamped on the back, "Photo by Nat Fein, Staff Photographer, New York Herald Tribune" stamp. In outstanding overall condition with some typical light surface wrinkling (some heavier creasing near bottom left corner). One of the most poignant baseball related images ever taken it has been called "the most celebrated photograph in sports history" by The New York Times and LIFE Magazine named it one of the greatest pictures of the twentieth century.
