Description: Rare baseball decorated folk art children's sled c.1880s-90s. Wooden sled with original cast iron runners features a painted surface with uniformed baseball player decoration. Color remains largely intact with the most loss to a blue stripe toward the front. In very nice overall condition with some mild scattered wear from use as intended. While devoid of any identifier(s) it has been suggested that the player shown might be Tim Keefe.
