Description: 1959 Al Lopez autographed Chicago White Sox professional model home jersey (SGC/Grob: Superior)- MEARS "A10"). Outstanding jersey as issued for use by Hall of Fame Manager Al Lopez during the White Sox memorable 1959 American League Championship season. Pinstriped jersey has the "Sox" team logo on left front chest and number "42" on back. The number also appears on the right shoulder. In the collar is a "Lopez" embroidered strip tag. An additional on the front tail reads "1959-1" and above is a Wilson tag noting size (42). Custom sewn on the inside, behind the team logo patch, is a pocket which was likely intended to hold a pack of cigarettes. In outstanding overall condition with evident useage and wash wear and a minute separation along one seam in the neck being the only flaw worthy of note. Signed on the front in marker rating 7/8 out of 10.
