Description: 1942 Ty Cobb autographed letter. Fan letter sent to Cobb in 1940 by a mother requesting his signature for her daughter. His reply appears on the lower half of the back and it has been signed "Sincerely, Ty Cobb" in his trademark green ink rating 9 out of 10. He had misplaced the letter and sent it back some time later as evidenced by the content and 1942 postmark on the original mailing envelope (included). Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sig.
