Description: UPDATED: "Shoeless" Joe Jackson professional model baseball bat c.1925-28 (PSA/DNA GU7.5). Substantive weapon as seen in use by Joe Jackson during his post Major League baseball banishment in various barnstorming and semi-professional baseball endeavors. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measuring an impressive 36" long and weighing 40.2 oz. Bat exhibits Jackson's trademark "dark flamed" finish as seen on his MLB and post MLB career game bats along with strong evident use including ball marks, grain swelling, cleat marks, and handle scoring. There is a 7" section of the back of the barrel that has some professional restoration and an area on the left barrel which was lightly planed to accept factory side writing which is no longer visible. With scant few documented Joe Jackson playing career game bats known to exist the small population of the offered post MLB career game bats provide an excellent opportunity to acquire a piece of game equipment from one of the greatest, and most infamous, players in the history of the game. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA GU7.5): VG-EX
