Description: 1939 Myril Hoag All-Star Game presentational pin. Attractive pin features (4) small diamonds set within baseball diamond motif, accented by blue enameled basepaths. "1939 New York" is done in raised lettering at the center. "Myril Hoag" is engraved on the back above "Dieges & Clust 10Karat" markings. Light wear including some scratching to the back. Hoag played (13) seasons in the Major Leagues, most notably with the New York Yankees with whom he won (3) World Series Championships. The 1939 All-Star Game marked his only appearance in the mid-summer classic.
