Description: Interesting Babe Ruth store model baseball bat from Ruth's personal collection c.1940s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" in length and weighs 35.7 oz., an uncommonly heavy weight for a store model bat. "35" is impressed on knob end. The bat was found within Ruth's New York City apartment and is very similar, if not identical, to several in which Ruth is holding as pictured in period images. While obviously not a bat that Babe Ruth used, the offered example was almost certainly held by the Bambino for promotional or photo op purposes.
