Description: Mel Ott scrapbook with autographed scorecard c.1941-42. Large scrapbook as compiled in the period by a Giants fan was later presenting to Mel Ott. Filled with newsprint and publication pages clippings along with some other type items. Includes July 13, 1941 scorecard signed on the cover by (5) incl. Mel Ott, Carl Hubbel, and Morrie Arnovich; additional scorecards from 1941 (3) and 1942 (2); 1941 Play Ball cards of Giant players Danning, Young, and Jurgess as well as a 1941 Double Play Young/Melton card; and a Pride of The Yankees movie program/handbill. Handling and storage wear along with the flaws typically found with items of this type incl. loose pages and chipping/tears.
