Description: Goose Gossage professional model baseball glove with World Series attribution c.1984 Professional quality Mizuno "World Win" glove is well broken in with nice evident usage wear. "Goose" is written in period black sharpie on the back of the glove and "54" is on the embroidered Mizuno label. Interior of the glove has "Booker" written neatly in red marker denoting Padres teammate Greg Booker to whom the glove was given. Included are two signed and dated letters of provenance from Goose Gossage and Greg Booker, both relaying the history of the glove as given to Booker by Gossage after the 1984 season. The letters further attribute the glove's use to both the regular season and World Series. A highly desirable Hall of Famer game glove with rarely seen direct first hand provenance.
