Description: 1893-1920s Ft. Smith Base Ball Association related correspondence and ephemera. Interesting archive of material from the Frank Parke files as relates to what are likely (2) or (3) different incarnations of a team called the Ft. Smith Base Ball Association. Includes 1893 heavy paper stock season pass and 1893 dated stock certificate conveying ownership of (1) share of stock in the team; 2/3/1911 Western Union Telegram from E.S. Barnard to Parke regarding an exhibition game vs. Cleveland Indians; 3/21/11 letter of "Cleveland Ball Club Company" stationery advising Parke of the squad the Indians were to send to play an exhibition game; (18) 1909-1910s letters signed by "M.J. Finn" who appears to have been a financier of Ft. Smith and a confidant of Parke; (18) 1909-13 letters from an A.Riggs who served as Ft.
