Description: Brooks Robinson autographed professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Robinson facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 34.5" long and weighs 32.9oz. Model number "R43" is stamped in the knob. Usage wear evident throughout with ball marks largely concentrated on one area of the barrel which has grain swelling due to repeated contact. A severe handle crack was improperly repaired with visible glue and wood filler and some surface loss. Vintage tape remains applied to the handle and there is chip missing on knob. Signed in blue marker, "Brooks Robinson" rating 8 out of 10. Though best known for his fielding abilities, which earned an incredible (16) Gold Gloves, Robinson was a formidable presence at the plate as well compiling a .267 batting average over his (23) year career which included (268) homeruns.
