Description: Exceedingly scarce Boston Red Sox "Million Dollar Outfield" autographed baseball. Lightly toned Frick NL baseball signed by the legendary outfield combination of Tris Speaker, Duffy Lewis, and Harry Hooper. Signatures present beautifully across the sweet spot and adjacent side panels ranging from 8-9 out of 10. The ball is also signed by Red Sox executive and HOF member Eddie Collins on side panel along with neatly inscribed period notation denoting its signing at a 1947 dinner honoring Duffy Lewis. Both Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb remarked that the so named "Million Dollar Infield" was the greatest they had ever seen. Very unique and desirable signed baseball of a high degree of scarcity.
