Description: Lou Gehrig professional model baseball bat c. 1940s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 34.2oz. Excellent quality bat retaining bold manufacturer's stampings and original patina with a handle crack which has been repaired with tape in the period. G69 model number stamped on knob end indicating likely production after Gehrig's passing.
